Dexup Care WhatsApp Support Service
In addition to our website, we operate a WhatsApp support service ("Dexup Care") on the number +91 90963 34099, which helps customers with questions and support relating to Dexup products. This service is provided in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act"). When you message us on WhatsApp, you consent to the practices described in this section.
What we collect through WhatsApp. When you message the Dexup Care service, we may collect your WhatsApp phone number (provided automatically when you message us), the content of your messages, any images you choose to send us (for example, photographs of equipment, labels, or error displays), and the date and time of your messages. We do not collect any information about you beyond what you send us through WhatsApp.
How we use it. We use this information only to understand and respond to your questions about Dexup products, help you set up, use, or troubleshoot Dexup equipment, route your query to a member of our support team when human assistance is needed, and improve the quality of our support over time. We do not use this information for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell or rent it.
How it is processed. Most queries are handled by an automated assistant that runs on our own equipment. To answer certain more complex questions accurately, a limited portion of your query may be processed by a trusted third-party artificial intelligence service provider (Anthropic, PBC). Where this happens, only the text of the relevant question is shared for the purpose of generating a response; your phone number, your images, and your identity are not shared with this provider, and the provider does not use this data to train its models.
Where it is stored and for how long. Your messages and the record of our conversation are stored securely on systems controlled by us and are accessible only to authorised staff. We keep these records for a limited period — ordinarily up to 90 days — after which they are deleted, unless a longer period is required to resolve an ongoing issue or to comply with a legal obligation.
Important — the service is informational. The Dexup Care WhatsApp assistant provides general product guidance only. It is not a substitute for professional advice from a qualified biomedical engineer or technician, and it must not be relied upon for clinical decisions or for anything affecting patient safety. For any safety-critical matter, please contact our support team or a qualified professional directly.

As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data, to request erasure of your personal data, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to raise a grievance about how your data is handled.
